Just a heads up, the Perseids meteor shower is tonight, it's meant to be one of the better ones. I am not gonna put tips on where/when to look cause it's different wherever you are. Just google for leonids and your area and you might find stuff.

Googling turns up Perseid meteor shower for today, not whatever it was that you said.

EDIT: Nm, that seems to be 2005

* The Aquarids, April 19 to May 28, peaking on May 6
* The Perseids, July 17 to August 29, peaking on August 12
* The Leonids, November 14 through 21, peaking on November 19, and
* The Geminids, December 7 through 17, peaking on December 14

Last night there were some seen passing over my area about 10pm, I was in town at the time and didn't get to see anything.
