Better Movie than the Prestige

I saw the Departed last night, and pretty much shit myself in amazement. It is Scorcesse at his finest!( Raging Bull, Goodfellas etc. etc.) I was mesmerized by the screen for all two and a half hours. Damon and DiCaprio do excellent jobs as the respective rats. On top of all that, I actually loved the ending, because it was not a typical Hollywood good guy tells his side of the story, everyone believes him, and all is well.

Oh, and it has Nicholson, Arec Bawing, Martin Sheen, and a surprisingly great performence by Mark Wahlberg.

Great movie, if you haven't seen it yet, go see it.

The Stranger (Seattle's free newspaper, whom I trust more on movie reviews than any other source) said that this is the best American crime drama since Heat.

it is very good...the ending reminded me a bit of reservoir dogs. hope thats not a spoiler...usually i dislike damon and decaprio and similar actors, but this was suprisingly good. no dissapointments..

Saw both trailers, somehow both seemed to be kinda, well, not worth watching. There wasn't this spark in me, what you usually get from a trailer. Even though both movies have some among my fav actors. :z

haha it was kind of bloody, but it was funny blood, like in kill bill. when you see ---- --------- lying dead covered in blood you don't really think "ew" you think "haha, so much blood"

Someone should either delete this post or put "SPOILERS FOR THE DEPARTED" in the title of this thread. This movie is too good to have the plot spoiled needlessly.

edit: Even the first post sort of spoils the ending, what is wrong with you fuckers? The movie was great but I thought not knowing the ending added a lot to the theater experience.
