The 9/11 commissions report noted that there was no relation to the WTC and Iraq. We also found no WMD in Iraq...what was disturbing to me was that the U.N. was still doing its job in Iraq in monitoring for the WMD...Bush made the choice to use bullshit info to Invade.
Here is the worst part about this political structure in the States. These incumbents running in this election have been asked over and over again if they would back the president to invade Iraq if they had known today what they didn't know prior to the invasion. 90+% of them say they would still invade Iraq regardless of there being no connection to terrorism, 9/11, WMD....sickening isn't it. It's all about coporate interests and monies to be made from this war at the sacrafice of men and women in the military so some fat cat politician can be safe with his family at home.
GWB in my opinion is a f'n idiot; in Washington, you can’t expect any rationality. I don’t know if he’s in Iraq because God told him to, because his father didn’t do it, or because it’s the next step in his 12-step Alcoholics Anonymous program. The responsibility for the invasion of Iraq lies with eight or nine members of the administration who have a “neo-conservative agenda” and dictate the U.S.’s post-September 11 foreign policy.
You have a collapsed Congress, you have a collapsed press. The military is going to do what the President wants.
How fragile is democracy in America, if a president can come in with an agenda controlled by a few cultists?
There’s no reason to see a change in policy about Iraq. Bush thinks that, in twenty years, he’s going to be recognized for the leader he was – the analogy he uses is Churchill. If you read the public statements of the leadership, they’re so confident and so calm…. It’s pretty scary.
Well I guess it is obvious that I cannot stand this Idiot.
