The Holiday Gift Idea Thread

For those of you exchange gifts during the holidays (and not just recieve them) how about we post questions/ideas for gifts.

I'll start: what would you suggest getting your grandparents for xmas?

Oldest Brother - Half bottle of 1990 Chateau Ya'Quem, and maybe a couple of days at a vinyard in California for him and his wife.

Middle Brother - Two Wireless Xbox 360 controllers, LinkSys wireless router, and Ring of Fire soundtrack, and maybe a few nice shirts.

Dad - Some Civil War history books, some tools, and a few pecan trees since he likes to garden a tad.

Grandmother - She is like 77, so a gift certificate to Luby's (meh) and a one year setup from Ozarka Water Deliveries (she is old and has problems carrying it to her car and whatnot) Ozarka is Nestle Water btw, it just used to be a Texas water company that got bought out, that I happen to work at now.

Cousin - Engraved Zippo, since he just picked up smoking.

Best Friend - Big Bertha Driver because it might be big enough to where he can actually hit a ball with it :P

Myself - A nice fitted set of Ping's to play with, with a HeavyPutter (tm) with custom ice blue grips, a new video card for my computer, and maybe take a vacation week from work and travel around a few states doing a disc golf circuit after picking up a new Magnet, Cyclone2, and Crush.

Girlfriend - Probaly going to replace her stock speakers and cd player in her car with some nice Infinity's or Fosgate's, and a year of Sirius perhaps.

Get XM over Sirius. Much better music selection and overall just a better service. Have had both and dumped Sirius two weeks after I got it...best move I made on the satellite radio world. Plus who the hell actually listens to Stern anymore....he sucks compared to Opie and Anthony and Ron & Fez.

Stern was good back in the days of WNBC and early KROK from 83-84 up until Jackie left.

Nothing wrong with Pings...have a nice offset putter by Ping

Taylormade has made the best irons for years. Besides that Taylormade has been the most innovative in that area. All the rest just follows. Though clubs are highly subjective, and it differs a lot from person to person, over all Taylormade and Titleist are way better then Ping. As far as Putters go, I would say Oddysey (Calaway) and Scotty Cameron (Titleist) are best, though rossa (Taylormade) has been moving up the ranks quite fast with their latest putters.

But yeah, Taylormade Rac Irons are far better then Ping.

Well my wife did most of the shopping, and I just bought her a hair straightener, Gotta buy a few more things for her and some sort of toy for my son who is 8 months todat and will be 9 next months for Christmas. Maybe i should buy some sort of devise to clamp the tree down so it doesn't fall on him if he pulls it.

GF- I bought her the jeans at the exact specifications she wanted, and the first two seasons of One Tree Hill on DVD

Brother- Since my mom got him a Wii, I got him Wii Sports.

Dad- The Godfather trilogy on DVD and the new Beatles "Love" CD.
