They are going to have a heck of a time fitting a huge battle and all those answers in just 2 hours. This might seem obvious, but I'm guessing most of the loose ends are going to be tied up with a 5 minute explanation. I'm just hoping that explanation doesn't involve a single omnipotent being...
Worst episode in a long time. I now have no expectations headed into this, which may actually be good. I fear a really lame duck finish, or a BSG just exploded with all the main characters on it finish.

Movie? I don't know about that. They wrapped everything up in a very much 'happily ever after' way, whichw as more than a tad odd but I still enjoyed, and to go into a movie now? Doesn't make a ton of sense to me, unless it's Razor style and all took place before the final episode.
So, speaking of the final episode, the first hour was fucking awesome. Come on now, Red Stripes fighting old school toasters, pure awesomeness. I really thought more people needed to be killed, however even when Helo went down you just knew he wasn't going to die. I did like the way the Opera House ended up, as well as the blind jump.
After that, we went into Disney mode where everybody lives happily ever after. Now, It's not that I didn't like this episode, but only Roslin died, and we knew she'd die sooner or later anyways. I appreciate the way most of the characters ended, with Adam building Roslins cabin for her even though shes dead, Tyrol going somewhere in the cold up north, and Starbuck flat out disappearing, which was the right sendoff for her. Ellen and Saul ending up together worked for me, as did Baltar and Caprica, with Baltar finally showing a little bit of humanity by staying behind and helping talk down Cavil, which would have had far more impact if Doral hadn't fucking open fired on everybody minutes later anyways. Also fuck Tory, she deserved to die.
So it was real happy go lucky, which wasn't bad but it wasn't what the show was. The show was doom and gloom, and just trying to survive. I mean, if you look at the last episode, we only lost 4 main characters. Sam flew into the sun (meh), Tory was strangled (meh), Roslin died of natural causes (meh) and Starbuck disappeared (good, but also meh). At least one person should have died in the battle, but even minor people like Hotdog managed to make it through. That I have a small problem with, but that's simply the route I would have gone, I still like the episode and love the series. A movie though, of that I have my doubts.
Also, the robots at the end. Kinda freaky

Yeah, It was a big jump from all the gloom to this happy ending, but I prefer it that way. They fought hard for the light at the end of the the tunnel.
The "movie" Battlestar Galactica: The Plan takes place during the entire series and probably a bit before; showing how the war went from the side of the cylons.
Plan is from the cylon perspective? Might work after all.
