You're right. Too bad it isn't common knowledge. Perhaps then ppl wouldn't blindly follow a religion just because their parents were the same. God wants us each to love, worship & serve Him as individuals, not confined in a box called religion with a bunch of rules, meaningless rituals and even more meaningless traditions. Which, in fact, puts man's word above God's and makes everything God has to say null & void.

Catholics are either spiritually lazy or retarded, because if they knew the history of the church, outside of someone within the church teaching the 'made up' history, they'd probably cease being Catholic. The thing is though, Catholics think it's by 'what they do' that gets them in, Not realizing that Christ has done everything they need to do for them.

My belief is simple... live life and be happy. Give God the credit and thank Him when it comes to mind. The golden rule.... treat others as you'd like to be treated. The Christian rule... Christ paid and has forgiven all my sins, past, present & future. Heaven is achieved not by what I've done, but what I believe He's done for me.
