Catholics are either spiritually lazy or retarded, because if they knew the history of the church, outside of someone within the church teaching the 'made up' history, they'd probably cease being Catholic. I don't take the bible as literally as Blueblaze, but I do see the bible as God trying to communicate with His children. Anyone that calls themself a Christian should be using the bible as their standard and a guide to living a life pleasing to God. Catholics, although they may read a scripture here and there, really do not have a clue as to the truths within the Word. If Catholics lived by the word of the bible instead of the traditions of men, Catholicism would cease to exist. People would see the vainity of virtually everything they've been told & taught. Catholicism is not Christianity. It's a pacifier for those that want to believe but don't want to do anything more than their Sunday obligation.. if that. Catholicism is a religion for the status quo. - Ignorance looking for a place to belong.

What's to argue? Everyone knows that if a person is Catholic, it's a pretty good bet they're also biblically illiterate as well. I'm an idiot because I was once a Catholic and I've since done my research to find not only are the Catholics in error according to God's Word, but pretty much of all organized religion. Religion is Satan's most deceptive dominion with education at a close second. I'm wrong because I believe a relationship with the Almighty is a personal, one-on-one relationship where the only rules of conviction are from my heart's understanding of God's Word and not some elected or appointed authority.
