You're just an illiterate Catholic. Satan's dominions are represented by the 4 horses of the apocalypse. White = religion, Pale = education.

enjoy the chuckles. At least you're happy

Seriously, hs is one of the biggest retards I think has posted on these forums.

The only reason hs is arguing is because he/she only wants to win. He doesnt care if his point is right or not. Must have had a bitter experience in the past.

Duh! People blame God for the problems of the world. God's just overseeing a bit while Satan has dominion over the world. Satan offered the kingdoms of the world to Jesus if He would bow down to him. When Jesus returns is when God takes total control over the affairs of mankind.

People think Eve took an apple from the tree.. and that that was the major fall of mankind... Thank Catholicism for that confusing euphemism, which comes from the mythology of Pandora, among other stories.

Catholics celebrate the "Feast of Assumption". That has no biblical support and was taken from the mythology of Persephone. For the first 1000 years after her death, it was well known, even among Catholics, that St. Mary and most of the disciples of Jesus are buried at the "Tomb of the Saints" in Glastonbury England. During that time all Christians recognized that place as the most holiest place on earth, next to Jerusalem at the time of our Lord.

The Catholics calendar has the "Immaculate conception" on the same month as Christmas. Do Catholics know? Do they know why?

Catholics believe the first pope was Peter, the Apostle of Christ. Catholicism didn't start for 300 years after the crucifixion... And Paul with the Apostles to the gentiles, not Peter.

There's no biblical support for purgatory either.

The bible also speaks against repetitious prayers, prewritten or otherwise. Rosaries are pagan.

The bible also speaks against prayers directed towards anyone other than God Himself.

Jesus speaks out against the structured hiarchy of authority like in the Catholic church.

You are a dick. I don't see it as winning or losing here. That's what's wrong with most of you people that have responded. You guys think it's about winning... or about converting ones faith.... pfft.

You make a comment and I respond if i'm moved to offer my opinion. It's that fucking simple. It just so happens that those things I believe in and hold near and dear to me are unlike most of you. We're all here for a reason.. i'm just going for the ride. It would seem to me like there may be someone out there that this information is touching. Not that anyones going to radically change their life from this, but that it will go on the backburner of their mind to be dealt with at the proper time in the future. That's how it works.

Yea and you don't care about "winning" after responding to every single arguement made.

I recognize that Constantine's tactics were a bit questionable. However, you don't need to debase an entire religion because of what an emperor did in the past. What you need to care about is what the Catholic church is doing today. As a Catholic, I witness countless beautiful things every time I go to church that enlighten me. Instead of just clinging to the bible as God's truth, I find it in myself and other's compassion. If you look closely then you will see it. If you don't I hope that someday you do.

Great. You're holding 2,000 year old values and applying them to Christians now? I thought we were past the whole "the people of old are smarter than us now." You'll subscribe to the fact that 2,000 year old teachings are to be held intact, but deny the value of education. Medicine, Sciences, and other fields of education have advanced, yet the method of which we praise God hasn't?

Stop holding others to old world values. Our minds have evolved to grasp more, so why can't our ways of prayer evolve as well?

So weak and reaching that the only way you could respond was by dodging the issue? I think it's a very vital part of your position, your "personal relationship". You say that people shouldn't be told what or how to believe by an "elected or appointed authority", yet they should hear it from you?

You are a sheep. A sheep goes to the stable for food. Not to be entertained.. or to "feel good" for being there. If your knowledge of God & the bible hasn't increased with every visit, not only are you wasting your time, but you're fooling yourself into believing that activity is going to make points with God. God is not there. If fact the Catholic church is on the cutting board. Her time is short.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she has filled fill to her double. How much she has glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will see no sorrow. Therefore will her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, will bewail her, and lament for her, when they will see the smoke of her burning,
Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is your judgment come. (rev.18:4-10)

Babylon is confusion, Catholicism is the whore of confusion.

Right, you're not dodging the issue (for the third time now with that post) and I'm the pompous one in this thread, as if I were the one calling people sheep and declaring that Catholicism is on its death bed.
