anyone that calls Wii a failure obviously has no clue whats going on.
Nintendo is making a HUGE comeback from it's Gamecube's 'dark ages'. I see more DS than PSP on the road, Wii is selling out everywhere.
Wii is never about it's graphics. Nintendo has never said anything along the line of "yo, check out these amazing graphics!!". Wii is about its new style of game play. Out of all 3 next-gen consoles, PS3 is the biggest failure right now. I see PS3 everywhere, and no one is buying them cause it just cost way too much, and without a really good launch title. While as for Wii, my friend still can't land his hand on one, cause everytime there's a new shipment of it, it will be gone within 10 minutes. Zelda TP has been dubbed as the best zelda game ever, which is a huge accomplishment, given how big zelda OoT was on N64. When Wii's gameplay can be fully explored, its games are going to be wicked. But anyone that compare games solely on its graphics should really call themselves gamers, or rather, talk about other consoles. Cause if i want games with amazing graphics, i will go to my PC thx.1 + 1 = 1

Well, luckily they are trying to get as many copies out as they can (unlike Sony)
Actually, when I was waiting in line for a Wii at like 12:30 and 5:30 people drove up asking if anyone wanted to buy a PS3. Nobody didUSA WORLD CHAMPS

wii is definately out ahead, xbox is in a close second though, them releasing their system early got them out ahead and more games lined up, but ps3 is in dirt back, people arent even buying ps3 for pleasure to play anymore, now they just buy to sell on ebay, no point. wii is the only console that has actually taken the step ahead to bring us something Next generation that all 3 consoles had promised, its the only one that tried something new rather than updating a graphics card and adding a giant hardrive and a 10 pound fan to power its Diesel fuel powered processer like a ps3 you could say.Big Chill

Nintendo is making a profit with each Wii sold, which is more than Sony can say for the ps3- I think they are losing somewhere around $200-$300 bucks for each ps3 they make.
Ontop of that, the Wii games are awesome in concerns to multiplayer- just check out Wii Tennis, Rayman Raving Rabbids or (supposedly) even the dragonball Z game to understand what I mean. They use creative, simplistic technology (original nintendo light gun/ duck hunt ftw) and wacky ideas to mold together an enjoyable multiplayer experience for tons of people. It's also the cheapest of the 3 systems, yet looks slick as hell and has a good number of staple game icons (Zelda, Mario, Metroid) along with the ability to play old old games from different systems (GUNSTAR HEROES FTW). The Wii is a powerhouse even when it's not trying to be, Nintendo is just trying to do something different while making a profit at the same time, they don't care if they are first or second in the "console war".
To be honest, I didn't like the Xbox for most of it's life span. Game library was shitty, console was overpriced for a good long while and the clunky controller didn't help either. But Microsoft has really turned around with the 360- Gears of War is game of the year hands down, the standard controller is awesome, they have a good selection of games and the best online gaming system out of the 3 consoles atm, as well as a slowly (and growing) diverse library.
Co-op Halo 2 is fun as shit (played with a buddy of mine for a few hours yesterday) compared to shitty shitty Halo 1; like I said above Gears of War is amazing in all aspects (co-op Insane difficulty is sweet nectar) , and they are slowly expanding the library by making more games backwards compatible. I just wish they would hurry up and make Panzer Dragoon Orta backwards compatible already :turned:My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.
