Also, my Dad has really bad astronomical knowledge. He can't name the planets in any sort of order. On being shown a solar system, he can point out saturn, but that is it. Can't even point out Earth.

He also though that The Sun was unique, and that everything we could see in the night's sky was reflecting The Sun's light.

My astronomical knowledge isn't all that awesome either, I know most planets, but not in the right order, or to size.

I do know the basic stuff, that the sun is a star, just like all the other stars we see. And the difference between planets and asteroids and whatnot.. but I probably couldn't even name all planets.
