I figured this movie might be worth seeing, as it was written and directed by Mike Judge. In reality, the first 15 minutes are pretty funny and the rest is just awful. Do yourself a favor and don't get convinced to rent it, wait for it to come on Comedy Central and catch the first 15 minutes. It's definitely the King of The Hill of movies (read, created by Mike Judge and terrible).

Cool, I was at Blockbuster yesterday and looking for a comedy. It was between Idiocracy or Beerfest. I got Beerfest, so I'm glad to know I dodged a bullet.

Yeah I figured Idiocracy was shitty when I saw that it was direct to DVD. It sucks because Mike Judge created one of the best movies of all time but can't consistently be funny.

King of the Hill isn't really funny either but I don't mind watching when my choices are The Steve Harvey Show, Roseanne, reality TV, or celebrity shows. I never really expected for King of the Hill to be a comedy like The Simpsons or something. It's definitely better than Family Guy.
