  • Illegal alien molests 4 year old, asks for deportation

    The story.

I hope it's pretty clear-cut but I want to hear maybe Europeans' opinions on trying an illegal alien in a judicial system of which they are no part. Europeans have much more contact with international borders disputes so maybe they have some perspective. Personally I think that if this dude molested a 4 year old he should be locked away in Guantanamo and forced to drink 3 gallons of grain alcohol through a coffee straw a day (just kidding Canadians!).

Are we trampling sovereignty or providing justice?

PS: I've got my eye on you, j=t and Centurion.

I think if you even so much as visit a foreign country that you should be subject to their laws while you're there. It's not like if you're an American that only American laws apply to you no matter where you are. Since he came to America, he should be subject to our laws and locked away.

If you commit a crime in someone elses country of which you are not a citizen, you should e deported to yours. A government and it's tax payers should not have to pay for your trial and treatment.

Riesen, your argument is pretty flawed.
We need to pay for criminal treatment, to keep it at "low" levels. It doesn't matter where the criminal is from, they need to get nailed down.

As a euro, I actually agree with you (ze amerikanz), that you should be allowed to throw him in your darkest hole for commiting one of ugliest crimes possible.

On the other hand, you got the DEA pushing to get Marc Emery from Canada, so they can put him in an american prison for life. Even tho he's a canadian citizen, and he got arrested in Canada.

Let's see how your doublestandards will work out here, my guess is: Not at all.
(By you, I do not mean you as in you, but as your elected leadership).

If you knew without question that deporting this scum to his own country would be worse and he/she would not be released on the public then I would push for deportation. If not then your "darkest hole" would be appropriate, if money is an issue send the bill to where ever "it" came from. Start cutting your national debt to this country if you want (or in Mexico's case, stacking it on. The UN, World Bank or whoever has a problem with it can go fuck themselves).

International arguments over criminal treatment bills is not exactly going to help world stabilization.

Send him to the moon, use a super highpowered bat, aimed at his balls to launch him.

Death penalty for this sick fuk. Who would do that to a little girl, i have a younger sister (4) and if someone touched her, i swear on my life i would find him/her and castrate them or uhh do something if it was a female.

Some interesting thoughts here. I think that there is some implicit exceptionalism in Americans' opinions because the feeling is that Mexico won't prosecute and won't care what he does to a 4 year old American. It's up to us to make sure justice is fully realized because Mexico can't possibly do it. It's no big deal for the US to disregard Mexican citizenry but think back a few years when that idiot American teen spray-painted something in Brazil and got caned - America went apeshit and he was immediately extradited.

Then again, it's not like we're going to Mexico and trying their sexual offenders. He did commit it against one of our citizens and as such should be punished - regardless of whether the US or Mexico would have a harsher punishment. It's a tough issue but given the seriousness of the crime and America's ability to tell Mexico to fuck off I'm glad he'll be tried and anally raped in the states.

in theory you would have to get your trial in that environment that tought you your morale. but when those 2 morales contradict each other too much it is up the "stronger" party to dictate the law that applies. thats egoistic but its how the world works. it also is is sort of wrong because you would have to get an international trial to be fair on this level, but i guess thats too expensive.

however, as long as there is no international law its hard to be fair to all involved parties, and even if there were a law, it wont be fair. or why has a homeless that robs someone face the same sentence as someone rich. because law is a low form of morale, thats why.

No way, dude. 4 is way too old. Nothin but todders, baby.

But seriously...vengeance is a completely normal human trait. It would make complete sense for people to want to keep the guy within their own judicial system to punish them according to their own standards. Since most people don't understand other cultures than their own, and we KNOW what happens to people like this if he winds up in prison, it makes sense that people wouldn't care what the financial costs were---they just want to see this guy's head on a spike after what he did to that 4 yr old.

If he molested someone no matter what age, he should be locked away for ever. Doesn't matter where as long as it's for the rest of his natural life.
