Funny thing about college

If you're going to College to have sex and drink yourself stupid every night then you're wasting a lot of money that could be spent at home. I think people should want to go to get an education, there seems to be mislead reasons for people going to college.

Although I do not think it should be a requirement to get a lot of sex or drink a lot, there is absolutely nothing wrong with getting drunk once in awhile and having casual sex.

Well, doesn't one lead to the other in most cases?

Sure would root a bunch of idiots out of the curve that usually help me though. =(

I originally went to Uni for the social life but my motive has changed since then, primarily because I failed at the whole socialising game.

P.S. If I stick with the course that I'm changing too in September, I'll be in the U.S. in a couple of years for a summer study.

I probably wouldn't drop out, but it sure would make college a hell of a lot less fun.

Saw this on another forum in a topic concerning college, and I wanted to see how many of you would agree-

If there were a magical way to evaporate every drop of alcohol on and around a college campus and prevent every student from having sex with one another, college attendance would go down at least 95% TOMORROW. After enough time spent writing essays about things i didnt care about, learning theories and principles i didnt care about, and listening to every professor make a three year old Bush joke like its the pinnacle of fresh and hilarious comedy while circle jerking about how progressive and tolerant they are i was ready to drop out.

Mainly the first sentence though. How many kids do you know would drop out of college if they couldn't get laid or drunk while attending? Would you do it?

While I'd like to think alot of people are there to get a better education or job they're interested in, I can't deny that the abundance of the opposite sex, the freedom involved and the "drugs" (alcohol, weed, etc) are a great attraction for many. I even know a few people that probably wouldn't be too hot about going if you couldn't do any of those things.
