Young Master

I grew up in the 60's & 70's. My relatives on both sides of my parents called me "Master & my full 1st name".

I was wonder how many other boys grew up being referred to as "Master ........". Are those days gone? :turned:

i've relatives in the country i grew up and they called me Cub, they called all kids that off a certain age
"ain't he a cute wee cub" they'd say
would never get my city relatives doing that.

To my understanding, Master is the really formal title for single males, on fancy stuff like wedding invitations people will still sometimes use it.

On my mother's side were blue collar Lithuanian immigrants north of Chicago & my dad's side were farmin' hillbillies in the Ozarks of Missouri. They say Y'uns not Y'all :P
