I'm going to buy a new MP3 player for my mom before I go back home so I need some tips! Most of the time she just listens to audio books but I figured that if she want some music it should fit too. Her last one, a small 512mb flash, broke. The player should be small and even better if it's in some cool color, have about 2GB and cheap price.
So if you know any good players tell me!

    Cheers, ema

I've been thinking about the Creative Zen V Plus 2GB or 4GB.

Is the SanDisk Sansa e260 4GB any good?

Creative's Zen line is pretty solid. The smaller Muvos are good also, Ender had a 128MB one for years and continued to work without any problems (he lost the battery pack for it though).

My buddy says so, I only ever had older models from them (which were excellent). I'm presently rocking the iRiver H10 and couldn't be happier, though they don't make em any more

So, it has come down to 3 finalists.

                    iriver E10 6GB Black
                    Great price for 6GB!

                    Creative Zen V 2GB Black/Green
                    Small and with nice colors.

                    SanDisk Sansa e260 4GB Black
Sweet menus and design! Good value too.

I found the H10 but it's still pretty expensive..

Shuffles have a very short half life. I would go with the Zen or the SanDisk player, don't go with a higher capacity player for a cheaper price without considering the other factors.

Girlfriend has the Zen V 4 GB version. It's easy to use, small, and pretty cheap. If I recall correctly the price difference between the 2GB and 4GB version was so small it didn't make a hell of a lot of sense to get the smaller one.

I think it's expensive here becuase a) Most electronics are cost more over here, and b) Because it's the last ones in a popular series.

Yeah thanks for the tip the difference was about 40 $

I still think the SanDisk is the most good looking one but it's for my mom and she likes it with colors and stuff (you know girls..) So the Creative it is.
I guess I'll buy the SanDisk for myself instead because I'm getting tired of my old Nano..
