man I remember in 9th grade I used to sell TI-83 calculator games for a quarter each game- I was one of the few (I think there was maybe one other guy) in our grade with the cable to transfer games, so I made a killing. You think it doesn't sound like much but I was able to buy my own lunches for a good while just selling the games. Great way to meet all kinds of kids as well.

2 friends of mine started a business where they are making the cables their selves. Made a internet page, put flyers up and down the school, they still do it actually I think. They are even making a nice bit of money.
