was shot here. i'm going to go see it later today so i'll see if i can actually recognize where i worked.

watching how they did the filming though, that is what makes me want to see this movie. they were pretty clever, as far as the actual production was. they took the hallway linking the parking garage to my office and turned it into a forensics lab, while still being able to function as a hallway - but when you see the movie, you'll see what looks like a normal sized room. to film the car stunts, they had to wait till all the lights were red and there was no cross traffic, and then they would do some badass skidding and sliding, in front of my office.

but yeah, "the guardian" was filmed here and that was OK so i'm hoping shreveport's post-Katrina newfound movie industry will start cranking out better movies. kevin costner bought a house in south shreveport, and sauvignon's relative saw Denzel in a barbershop.. and I have andy dick's phone number. neato.

apparently they're also filming a movie about an african-american debate team that beats harvard, or something

edit: apparently these 5 are all going to be filmed here within the next year

    The Great Debaters
    The Better Man
    Mad Money
    For Sale By Owner
    Stephen King's The Mist
    NOSTALGIA IN THE WORST FASHION

sigh nothing is filmed in ohio ever, unless theyre looking for a rural approach to a new edge on violence.

I also thought it was about brookus, and it took a couple of reads of the first line until I realised you meant that a film was shot
