Visiting London end of September - chime in!

Is it worth it to check out London's main sites in a day? I'm visiting Paris for 4 days but I'd really like to see London while I'm in the area. Anyone know of cheap flights/trains/buses/ferry/whatever to get to London from Paris?

Fastest way would be the train obviously, from Paris to London.

as far as night life goes, check out the absolut ice bar. i thought that was pretty rad. just be prepared to pay £9 per drink...now that i think of it, that goes for pretty much every night club in london.
