    - usb (fast data transfers)

    - You can also call people with it. (pretty cool gadget on it)

    The all in one wonder.
Nokia's N series phones really really really fucking suck...

They're completely bugged, crash out and turn off all the time after you've only had it a month.

And the battery fucks up and only lasts 4 hours after about 3 months use too.

    [/RANT]
I had one.. I won't buy another Nokia as long as I live.

Sony Ericssons do the job, and they're pretty much invincible too, I've had mine 3 years now, no issues. ^-^

Well when did you get your first phone from either? Because a few years ago these sorts of cell phones were neither common or bug free.

wewtz it has been a long time.

Anyway, I've used the iphone too...it is nifty and cool and all that, but it certainly isn't worth the price tag and the lock on GSM carriers. That and how apple hasn't opened up its development platform...that sucks, when you have that much potential power there (I know someone has gotten software working, but it isn't exactly encouraged...).

Personally, I'm a big fan of my Palm Treo 650...it has web access, lots of software is out for it, and people are even getting linux to run on it (I have linux running on my IPAQ). It is really a computer.

Oh, and anyone who says that internet is expensive...I pay ~$7/month for unlimited internet on my Treo, using Sprint! Coverage is decent and performance is good, and it supports bluetooth dialup networking so I can go on the web with my laptop through my phone! I'd love for the iphone to match that.

My statement still holds true as I was referring to launch prices in those 2 figures. Hell you can get a BlackBerry 8700 for $99 but it's 2 years old.

I could take the iPhone out, go on the internet, to my email and just write my essay down on paper. I forgot my flash drive at home and didn't print the paper and my friend had an iPhone, but yeah I didn't write it down since I had a computer sitting across from me.
I'm not knocking the iPhone, but what you just described can easily be accomplished on most smart phones.

Unfortunately I don't have my own site to link pictures from but the BlackBerry Curve (8300) can be seen at RIM.com. It's the first BlackBerry that does a decent job of adequately meeting enterprise and consumer needs but not something most will consider unless they use their smartphone, at least partially, for work. I think iPhones are cool but I'd rather use two cups attached by a string when it comes to business email.

theres a warrenty, 69 $ and supposidly as of right now its covering accidental damage, however I'm sure this will change

APP for iPhone will cover phone for 1 additional year from purchase date after the 1 year limited hardware warrenty runs dry
