I am driving a new 07 Ford 500 atthe moment. It's a rental for the day while my car is being inspected.

What a piece of crap this car is. After driving my Honda, as well as my parents Toyota and the many many many leased cars I have driven in the past decade+ Ford makes the biggest piece of crap car I have had the chance to drive. I like their trucks, but if you do a side by side comparison, you can see why someone would rather get the Honda, Nissan or Toyota. The Ford 500 sells for $30,000.00 +/- For that muchmoney the interior is plastic and looks like shit...the drive is hard to say the least. Why would anyone throw money away of a Ford when for the same money you can get a more reliable, better gas mileage car that has more extras than needed for less price.

Ford just doesnt get it and personally they deserve to fade away. They should just specialize in Trucks and the new Mustang. The Ford lot next to my work has too many SUV's and the owner is dying to dump them. The F-150 & 250 do quite well.

Yeah man, that's why I'm not complaining about the Ford plants leaving Ontaio, sure I feel bad about the jobs that are lost but new jobs have been created and our government has put these people into training to find a new career path. Most workers at the Ford plant were making 60-70 grand a year, if they don't have their houses paid off by now or have some cash stored away then that's their fault, the plant was warned like ten years ago that it would probably be shut down. An average Ontario house goes for 300 thousand, the workers who have worked there for a number of years should at least be able to get into a new career path, or hell even go back to school and do something different.

I would never, ever buy a Ford, domestic cars for the most part are shit.

it makes no difference what the canadian dollar's worth since nobody spends cad... yet it's bad for america but since our currency isn't as high, mo ppl spend mo money. it's simple, lower usd, more ppl using it. no one wants to spend the most expensive dollar since they think they're getting ripped off. the lower the dollar the better, since more ppl will use it. game over like 50 yrs ago, canada will always be us's lil bro. i laugh at the day we go solo, since as bad as it would seem and as likely, it will still never happen. I know I'll regret this later but I'm willing to give up Maple Syrup if we can get rid of Quebec, oh and there's no way in hell you're keeping a Canadian currency, if you want to be an independent and self sustaining country then do it otherwise eat your corn bread and shut up. French-Canadian is a bastardization of real French, it's like taking a perfectly distinct culture and sodomizing them over a two hundred year period and basically what you get is a lot of nationalist bafoons who love to eat gravy and talk about how they're misrepresented inside the Canadian government.

Quebec hates -

1) spending their tax money to fund the poorer provinces like Manitoba, well guess what? Ontario spends the same on other provinces, Ontario and Quebec pull in more money of course tax dollars go to smaller provinces, fucking ridiculous. English and French must be on everything the public sees, this matter was proposed by Quebec yet they're the only ones who refuse to put English on certain signs so that if you're in certain parts of Quebec you're really fucked, thanks a lot douche.


2) Not being represented on the federal level, basically they want power in matters as far as defense and other things that one single province should not and will never have control over, it's like letting Texas or South Carolina make decisions for America.

3) English speaking people, they're ignorant for not learning a language that is spoken in one province, in one country in a world filled with more commonly used languages like I don't know REAL FRENCH, wow. I almost will never need this useless language, even if I go to France and try to speak this language I've spent 6 years learning I wont know what the fucks going on and I'll pretty much get laughed at for adding le on to English words such as 'le fruit'

4) English speaking students do not have enough French classes, they want us to spend more time embracing their culture and language and learn the language. We spend Billions of dollars teaching French to students, half of them never use it (it's centralized around one province) when we could be investing this money to update schools, text books and course materials.

Actually, if this continues, people could start panicing and everyone will want to dump their dollars. This will lead to a crisis. Seeing as the whole world system is based on the dollar, the whole world system will change and the dollar will lose its position. You can thank Bush for that.
