The fact that this thread not only is so popular, but one of the most actively popular threads right now tells me two things


1) people here need to fucking grow up. I know most of you live sheltered anti-homosexual lives wherre you can sit and play this game all the time, but the truth is; most people in real life are different.

2) learn to accept different people, places, thngs, and anything else. Not everyone is the same as you (anyone see that sweet movie Angus?). I can't understand why some people play soccer, that doesn't make them any better or worse than me because I enjoy football. People (though I didn't read every post I';m sure others agee) need to grow up and understand thast not everyone is the same. Learn to fucking accept if, even if you can't understand they're fucking different, immature douche bags.

Except that I used a movement of ideologist that exist today, that are having rallies at least once a year in this country and have to rely upon the Artikel 8 and 9 of the Dutch law.
I don't know of any other movements that openly rally against things like homosexuality in my country, if you can point one out, feel free to do so. I could have been more specific and called them by their names, like the Nederlandse Volksunie, but I don't expect anyone to know them.

I didn't use Hitlers ideology as a comparison to actions of someone else. If I at least remember Godwin's law correctly. I used it many times on these forums.

Godwin's law doesn't discriminate, it merely says: As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one (1.00).

Though you didn't do it in an extreme fashion, you used the good ol' reductio ad hitlerum analogy "well hitler did this, therefore this is bad". I know it's sometimes unavoidable, especially with this subject matter, but I love to call people out on it.

You could even say I'm a Godwin's Law Nazi. tehehe.

The goal was to point out the hypocrisy in Stark's comments with a post that just oozed hypocrisy of its own. Even though I agree with Stark, though not enough to bitch people out, I found comments regarding tolerance to carry less weight given the intolerant angle he took. I figured I mine as well run with the cunt label after Cops took the sarcasm of my original post seriously. Looks like I'm 2 for 2 in failed attempts. My own fault for trying to be witty outside of the 8-6 work window.

Although I was pretty drunk last night, the point remains the same.... a lof of the people on here can't understand or don't like homosexuals because they are different. "I don't like homosexual intercourse, so why would anyone else?" The thing is, there is a difference between what Eric seems to be trying to say and what my point was. Eric, you seem to be implying the same thing could be applied to Nazis in WWII... Why can't you resepect/understand the fact that they don't like Jewish people and feel they all should die to cleanse the ethnicity of the world? This is a whole lot different. Am I intollerant because I don't agree with Hitler's world views? No. This isn't "I like Chinese food... you should, too," but, when we're talking about something like this it's a totally different story.


Edit: just to clarify, I'm not comparing homosexuality to nazi's... just making a point.

How the hell does intolerance of bigotry signal hypocrisy? Eric needs to take off his Haterwear and realize that his version of normal is not a universal one.
