i dropped 5k on a truck that gets 27mpg, and has cost a total of $135 to restore to a "new" condition, mechanical-wise. and yeah, toyotas are pretty nice - my dad has a loaded 2008 4runner - but if you're going to get a tundra, i hope you don't mind being towed by chevrolets. in all my travels, i've never seen a stock toyota make it more than a few hundred yards in mud.. something even my old passport could do
