i'd rather drink a canadian over most American beer, it might not be a ketihs or a moosehead but at least it's not a coors light or bud light. I've gotten use to Canadian, I use to hate it but Sheridan's pub has $3 pints and $10 pitchers so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

we have brahma here. it's usually really expensive though (usually same price for a bottle as a pint of something else) so i dont ever buy it. would if i could afford to though

yeah same here, it's honestly the best beer I've ever tasted. I usually drink what is cheap, if Jack Daniels is $2 a shot I'm drinking jack. I'm going on an all inclusiveness vacation to Cuba or Dominican and I'm praying to god they have brahma.

Yuengling isn't anything special, but it sure as hell beats Bud and Coors products. It's also a relatively cheap beer for the quality.

I might have to give that a shot next time I'm in Florida, be there in T-Minus 6 months.

Someone really is in Calgary, that's all they drink. Not a bad beer though, you've got to be in the right mood. I still think brahma is a lot smoother and Moosehead has a fuller taste.

American beer is awesome, you just have to get the craft beers. With the thousands of breweries in the US, i'm sure someone's got a beer that tastes almost exactly like any other beer. It's true a lot of americans drink budwieser, but there's plenty of readily avaible (at a grocery or beer store) brands like Sam Adam's or Flying Dog to name a couple.

Yuengling isn't my favorite, but it is a good price. I like the black&tan better than the lager.

As for Canadian beers, do you like Unibroue? I think they're out of Quebec somewhere (Chambly?). All of there beers are bottle refermented (high alcohol %). Trois Pistoles is probably one of the best balanced beers I've ever had (and it got a 100 rating from some beer rating guide). La Fin du Mon is pretty good by them as well.

i am really impressed by the size of the cans you can buy in canada. i bought a 750ml fosters can down in oakville beer store yesterday. wish we got them in england!

the biggest cans we have are 3 litres ^_^ Not that common that people actually buy them tho hehe
