i think there's been a recent wave of liberalization in the middle east and an increase of acceptance as far as some, not all, of western culture. they really don't have to like us... it's far more better than them invading us and imposing on our lives daily, as we do to them.

Also, I think someone asked Barack Obama about his involvement on the Senate Foreign relations committee and how or why he hadn't brought in NATO for talks with Middle-Eastern countries. Can anyone tell me what business the NORTH ATLANTIC Treaty Organization has anywhere outside of the NORTH ATLANTIC?

I've done several papers on Iran and the push to democratize it, it really is going to get better in the next 10-20 years. They don't need us sticking our noses in their business. The middle east is changing, but in no way shape or form should we expect to make allies with Iraq especially after the bullshit they're going to face once America leaves.

I'm not gonna lie, it... is kind of funny lol. The truth is that Canadian soldiers are doing a lot of good to help build up the country, it's going to look a lot better than Iraq will. In both countries there needs to be a push to stabilize it (to some point) and move the fuck out.

Before you knock what I have to say, consider this, Ive lived in the Middle East for most of my life. (Saudi Arabia and the UAE)

As for the Mid East becoming more liberal, yes the Mid East is still developing, and they can sort their own shit out without someone forcing them to change.
Countries like the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Yemen, Lebanon etc are all becoming more and more open and accepting of "western" ideals, and the younger generation are spearheading the change, its just a matter of time.

How are we fortifying anti-american beliefs in the area by being there? I've been over this before with you people. I'm here. I deal with these people on a daily basis. The average person in this area is no different than the average person in the united states or any other part of the world. They want to show up to work, get paid normally, have a normal family, and practice their religion. It sounds like a simple life, right? Unfortunately their shitbag gov't does not allow them to get an unbiased view on what america is all about. For them to leave the country/area, it would cost ~25k USD. The TCN's that I work with here for the most part like America, because they understand what were about by working/talking with us. By helping them out and putting in a government that is more like ours, we not only allow these people to be free, but also we give ourselves an ally after all is said and done.

Scoring a 99 on the asvab is nice jerome, but its not really a huge accomplishment by anyones standards. I was asking you what youve done with your life as far as a career is concerned...maybe a degree in something other than a BA...you know something that matters. Getting high and posting on forums while being thousands of dollars in debt from college loans is hardly something to brag about.

With Hillary Clinton taking her last gasp as South Dakota and Montana vote, we should stop a moment and thank the Democrat Party for doing it once again. Yes, that's right. Once again the Democrats are choosing the candidate who will not win. Barack Hussein Obama, barring an October surprise, will lose in November. Here are a few reasons why:

4. Obama promises to withdraw ALL American troops from Iraq, where we are winning, then negotiate with Iran. This is a foreign policy for disaster.

5. Obama will no longer receive a free pass once the primaries are over. All of his dirty laundry and connections to Islamists, terrorists, felons, America haters and other nefarious persons will be made public before November.
