spoken from someone who truly has no idea how the government works. In this instance, he came up to the car and saw an empty beer can. In other instances, the person was acting 'suspicious'. This can have a very wide range of definitions, however police officers are rightfully given some lenience on being able to do their jobs for a reason. The system isnt 'fucked' if you're doing what you're supposed to be doing. Personally if I got caught and someone wrote me up for it, I would say 'what a douche' and move on as best I could. You are taking a risk whenever you do something you KNOW is illegal. Generally if you're polite with cops they wont be huge dickheads to you, which clearly happened in this case seeing as how jerome got off easy.

Listen dumbfuck read the entire thread, i said he can't solely search you because you refuse a search. No shit the cop can search you if he sees empty beer cans and people who look underage, that's just common sense. Plus the cop probably isn't retarded, he probably smelled the weed.

Dude, he is grown up. do kids take a car to another state to go camping? No they dont, adults do that. Hell my parents do that man, beer and pot included. Breaking the rules doesn't make you a kid, and if you're good at it, I dont find it easier to follow them.

How can you speak so highly of social conformity to laws when you yourself don't follow the law, you partake in illegal drugs just as Jerome does. There's no need to get on your high horse and talk down to someone when you yourself are no shining example of how one should act. Show a bit more class towards people who are obviously more wiser than you, Troll King, ConcreteSchlYrd, etc. As I see it, you have no right to tell anyone to 'grow up'.

I don't mean to talk to highly. But just think about it, yeah i will get high sometimes with some friends, but this kid was been nearly caught by THE POLICE with weed. He's gotta know where to draw the line, any thinking animal learns.. Yes Jerome can do exactly whatever he wants, but eventually, i think, all this reckless weed smoking(such as stories like these) will catch up with him. I think i have the right to tell someone to grow up for one reason, common sense.

I tell Jerome to "grow up" because i am younger than him and i even i know you gotta be fucking crazy to go to some random park at night with cops left and right, with weed on you and booze in your car. He needs to fucking grow up because this is like what? the third time? and he still has no intentions to stop. Any thinking adult can recognize serious punishment.

Again, i do get high too, but i don't set myself up for situations like jerome (e.g. don't smoke with groups). And if i do nearly get caught this way, i can easily give it up, i haven't touched weed in about a month, and i don't even think about it. The last time i got high i was with 1 other friend and we went to a little get together with 4 other girls, we just passed around a bong and a piece, there were max like 6 people, but we were in a girls basement while her parents were in the Bahamas. It might not seem like a huge difference to what you did, but that subtle difference is the difference of getting caught and not.
