Well you do not classify as Atheist just because you say you do, of course you are not dangerous (not dangerous for the support of morals that is). Instead you are a prime example of subjective blindness, you can barely see beyond your disgust for the christian church of 300 years ago, thats why you lack every possibility to argue against God that makes sense. Thats why you call yourself Atheist and resort to my - yea right, your - god when you try to explain your free will.

well all i can say is that your entire set of beliefs and your argument is set upon the "only my religion can be right" arguement.

That is because, while very similar, most religions have at least one or two actions that would be considered "good" under one moral set, and "bad" via the other.

You're basically saying that religion (yours in particular) is the basis for all morals, but what about the other religions? or ones that you wouldn't even consider religions (pagans) ? Are you suggesting that their societies don't follow a moral standard? or are you just saying it doesn't align with yours, and since yours is right, their morals aren't truely a standard? But then yours aren't a standard either, because they don't follow them.

Or how about the inuit, who i'm pretty sure had zero concepts of a god before contact with other cultures. They didn't exactly survive in the middle of no where all those years on debauchery and murder. In fact, to subsit where they did, they probably had a much tighter set of morals than say, the romans who founded your organized church and had ties to hundreds of other civilizations.

are dear fluffz, I bring up cogito ergo sum because, despite Descartes' Meditator's idea of God, I believe that while I know that I exist, I can also say that I am the one bringing out my free will, for I only know that I exist.
