The 1st Amendment's says, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion..." and in Article VI, Section 3, "... no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." It was the founding fathers like Jefferson, Adams and Washington whose agnosticism towards religious discrimination made America the diverse and liberal country it was and is. Not a dogmatic, religiously maintained dictatorship as seen in the Middle East. Not a heridatory, overbearing monarchy as seen in pre-Victorian Europe. A free, secular democracy where affiliation to a certain religion; being born in a foreign country (but having American Nationality) or having a certain sexual persuasion would not award any difference in treatment under the constitution. Interestingly, America does not have the same scale problem of land scarcity as Europe so the problem of overcrowding is reduced. Additionally, these same immigrants pay taxes that far outweigh the social costs of them on your public services as they are usually young, fit and educated. They help pay for your healthcare, your education and defence. America would crumble without cheap labour from Latin America.

As I've explained, ones sexual persuasions cannot be adjusted. This suggests to me that it is not something inherently evil or malicious or sinful but something which must be societally accepted. hey, anyone who can make it into america has some sort of talent, thats for damn sure. the coyotes don't usually work much anymore due to the beefed up border patrol. you should read some immigration stories, i suggest Crossing into America its a large compilation. as for illegals, they are the a nice addition to our economy, but i wouldn't go so far as to say they are the lifeblood. when it comes down to it i would rather have some illegal guy who is stealing mere pennies in the grand scheme of things and works his ass off for his little pay because its a matter of life and death to him than some apathetic american ass who sits around and bitches about how hard the work is and produces half the product the illegal did. mind you there are people being screwed over, but the production increase is far more beneficial. More products produced = more products able to sell = more products sold = more tax on goods = more money, i think the increase in production encompasses their lack of income tax and then some. however to go so far as to say our economy would fail if the immigrants were removed is a crock of shit. this financial crisis is worse than the immigrants leaving.
