not gonna lie: now that it's over, one of my quickest realizations was that holy fuck yes, mccain is not president and palin is not vice-president. i think i can deal with president barack obama... but i will pay close attention.

i'm used to a president who wields his power to a really abusive degree, i think obama will at least be a bit more communicative with we, the people. it will be refreshing.

We're a nation that relies on trading with your country. Our economy and sovereignty relies heavily on the fact that we have a strong relationship. This election I'd argue heavily influences whether my country can get back on track. I'd hate to admit it but Canadians don't really give a shit about Canadian elections, it's important to us but Canada internationally doesn't mean a thing. It's important to me that my neighbors, my allies, my friends, and my family live in a country that works for its people and the people of this world.

Now let me enjoy the fact that America just elected Obama.
