that's pretty ridiculous and sad on her part since she was running for VP, but it also further shows just how geographically retarded americans are on the whole. a fun thing I like to do at happy hours/parties/etc. is ask people "the impossible question". it has 2 parts to it: first, what is the capital of mexico. i'd say about 60% of the time people can answer that, which is still ridiculous. second, what is the capital of canada. i have yet to hear the right answer for that one, and i've asked this question to a lot of people.

McCain advisers are starting to leak info about the fighting and problems going on in the GOP party during the campaign- especially in regards to Palin.

Two of the big things mentioned in that video is that she didn't know which countries comprised NAFTA, and didn't know Africa was a continent.

I'll repeat that.

She didn't know Africa was a continent, she thought it was a country and argued with the staff about South Africa and claiming it was not a country on a continent.

What makes this hilarious is seeing Bill O'Riely try to brush it off and say that she could be coached on and taught this type of info--I think that's beyond ridiculous.

I don't want a Vice President who doesn't know that Africa is a continent! You shouldn't even think about teaching that to a candidate, they are leading the country and should have much higher standards---not knowing continents? Not knowing that Mexico is in NAFTA? Are you serious, Bill O'Riely?

Quite simply Obama ran a better and smarter campaign, and made much few mistakes so he won.

The policies of Obama and McCain were pretty similar they both went for the central ground...if you actually read into them and didnt just listen to the news etc :P

McCain shot himself in the foot by appointing Sarah Palin. He really needed a intellectal women, a Hilary Clinton like figure (not in policy shes a left-winger but he needed a smart women and not barbie on speed) to attract the voters and women in the center ground.

If Obama can run America like he ran his campaign the future looks bright. Hes a very smart guy, he understands the power of words as well as military might. He will be working more with the Republican senatars than you might think as the left wing of the democratic party will try to pressurise him to push though their bad ideas

Exciting times are ahead of us.
