    Samsung Vs. Vizio

    as you would know, black friday is around the corner and many stores have major discounts on many electronics, so i decided to look into some good TVs, hoping id find a deal and fortunately i did...

    My dilemma is the fact that im not an expert, and i came across 2 good brands with the same offer on the 42 inch TVs...

    First 1, for 750 dollars (with tax) is Samsung

    Im yet to go to best buy to see some deals, however, from these 2 presented, which one in your eyes seems better? Considering brands, id say samsung has the upper hand but thats not always the case...which one would you choose and why? and is there really any major differences between these 2 in the first place? or is it just same shit in different package?

      yea from the comparison, honestly, they are the same with minor set backs from each...the new egg deal is great for a 1080 but 100 dollars more from a 720 one...and as i read, its hard to see the difference on less then 50 inch TVs...so basically, im paying 100 more for nothing...but answer the question, which of the 2 do you prefer?

          From what I understand, Plasma eats energy like crazy.

          I got the Samsung 42inch LCD tv. Just because Samsung makes the better looking one!

            I don't know if they fixed the issue of image burning on plasma screens yet

            might want to look it up, especially if you plan on playing alot of video games on the tv
            My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing.               I have a 44" samsung plasma and I love it. had it for 2 years..paid 1100, i used to play xbobx on it...never had any problems but i didnt leave it on for hours and hours

                maybe cuz not all people can sit directly in front of the LCD to see it?....
                thats the good thing about plasma...u can see it from anywhere in the room instead of directly in front of it and level with it...lame

                  now im stuck again...how the hell do i decide which one is better? i see sony as having more outputs and etc, but samsung being better in color depth cus of the contrast ratio...what do u guys think -.-
