Obama has done nothing, hes acted like a huge pussy in front of the other nations, and instead of respecting the US more they just think we are dumbasses and pussies now. Unemployment is up, the stock market is about to crash unless we do what Biden wants and toss another trillion dollars into it like fucking morons, like that will work this time. Seriously, how could any single one of you Obama supporters honestly tell me that you approve of what he has done since getting into office, or honestly tell me that things have gotten better. Is this the change you wanted or expected.

Neither does TexasNews.
Obama can't be blamed for not fixing things that took 8+ years to create (by someone who wasn't even elected by the public, I threw that in there just to ruffle your feathers). He's only been in office 6 months, I don't think anyone expected the economy to be fixed by now. I also don't think anybody expected everyone to have their old jobs back.
Also, since this is my opinion (I'm stating that because of what I'm about to say, also, my friend, to ruffle your feathers), I also wanted to express that it's stupid to ask someone if they're stupid...what do you expect them to say?
What do you care anyway? Hopefully ya'll will secede anyhow.Ну вот...

No, it wasn't already known... Biden even admitted that the economy was "worse than they had gussed". Maybe it is because consumer confidence is at an all time low because they want to pass another trillion dollar bullshit bailout that won't work and just passed a "climate change bill" that already fucked up Europe's taxes so badly even though it helped absolutely nothing. When everyone knows taxes are going to increase like 5-10% because of GLOBAL WARMING (fucking stupid bullshit) who the hell is going to go around hiring people, especially huge companies that are afraid that they are going to have to spend millions of dollars to update factories and still pay more than they already do in taxes to run the factories. It was a stupid time to pass a bullshit bill like that, and talking about another bailout after the first one failed, even after so many Americans were pissed off about about the first one, is just going to fuck everything up again.Rabble Rabble Rabble

bloomberg, yahoo, abc news.. I don't even have to peruse Fox News to find troubling reports about the other world leaders questions the US's ability to actually fix anything with our economy which is bound to get worse under terrible leadership from Obama. And Biden saying how we might need to do another trillion dollar bailout which should fix things. If even these biased news sources are starting to question the moron we elected because he was cool, young, and black, then you know there must be something seriously fucked up.Rabble Rabble Rabble

First bailout, do you mean Bush's bailout?
I think you have a good point about forcing companies to upgrade their factories during a global recession. That could be painful, but not detrimental.
Companies are failing because they've ballooned themselves so large that they were projecting sales to continue to increase until the Second Coming or Global Warming would do us in. It was poor planning on their part to assume that a bubble wouldn't burst. As a result, they've had to cut numerous jobs (not at Obama's request, mind you) to save profit (who gets that profit anyway?) It was the plan of our government to bailout those companies to save jobs that have not already been lost.
If you believe a company should go under for its own mistakes. Good for you, you're a hardcore capitalist. If you think entire municipalities and towns should go under because a company made greedy decisions, you're also a capitalist. Oh yeah, and you're probably republican.

Why bailout GM and let them fail again when you can just let GM fail and another company rise up out of its ashes that has better ideas, better products, and is all around better. There is a reason companies fail, even large companies. For instance companies like the macs made bad decisions to give people who shouldn't have had houses, houses. Normally that would be a lesson and another company would take over that wouldn't make such stupid decisions, but instead the government steps in and gives that company millions of dollars to pay off all the debts it owns without changing anything. I wouldn't loan my friend a million dollars after he had already failed twice to open businesses successfully with the first two million dollars I gave him, it just isn't a wise investment. And yes I do mean the Bailout that Bush passed through, but then again he wasn't really that much of a republican which we both know. Anyways, how is another bailout for all these companies going to help anything? Where is all this money going? How long are other countries going to let us just print out trillions of meaningless dollars and remain the standard of international money? China and Russia have a point to be completely honest, and adding more taxes to an already stressed out system, or just tossing billions of dollars into shit to see what sticks isn't going to work. So no, if this is what the best and brightest along with Obama want to do then it doesn't matter if he has been in office for a day or a decade, he isn't make smart decisions and therefore is doing a terrible job in office.

I think a good step towards fixing these problems would be imposing mandatory term limits on members of the legislative branch. Seriously, those guys are way worse than any president we've had since probably Hoover, maybe forever.USA WORLD CHAMPS

We've seen plenty of booms and busts since the Carter admin. so I don't think that matters.

I can't say I entirely agree with all of the programs that this administration has decided to fund, I think some of them don't really aim in the right direction.
What I gleaned from Biden's interview, he wasn't alluding to a 3rd bailout, he just wasn't ruling out that possibility. It's also understandable that they misread how deep the recession is. They hadn't gotten elbows deep into it when they were making certain predictions (ie, unemployment capping at 8%).
Anyway, the whole idea of letting businesses fail or not is an entirely different conversation or thread. To express my view shortly, I think a giant should be supported if that giant is supporting millions of people. Jobs are still lost with buyouts.
I wish I could strongly agree or disagree with you on Obama's decisions. The truth is, until we get out of the recession, we probably won't know what are good decisions and what are bad decisions.
Several years ago, Japan was in a similar situation and did nothing significant to curb it. Apparently, they're still suffering some consequences of that decision. We're not going to really know what was good and bad until several months or years from now.Ну вот...
