    Clicked a bad link

    Hello,
    I recently clicked a tinyurl link that someone I trusted pasted in subspace chat. Now whenever I begin playing ss the screen scrambles and even after exiting the program the screen is scrambled. I have to restart my computer to fix it. After reinstalling the program I'm still encountering the issue.
    Does anyone know how to fix this problem? It's probably a harmless program since the trusted individual wouldn't do real damage to my computer but it's preventing me from playing. Help me out.

    whatever it was fried your video card. sorry mate you need to get a new vid card =( it may or may not have been related to the link, but actually alt+tabbing to click the link could have messed it up.

    also change your resolution and change from 32 color to 16 via options for continuum

              Never click a link someone gives you in SS.

              For just one reason as an example, if I wanted to figure out who you are, I would tell you to go to the link and then look into the server log files to find your IP address.

                            nothing has worked. i can't incriminate this person. for one, there is a slight chance it wasn't them but rather something previously occurring on my machine. two, they're too close to me to spam their guilt all over your faces. SPLOOOOSH!!! :P
