What part of America are you in that you don't hear about other countries oh that's right you're just assuming things, typical for people from your country. Yes, I'm just kidding, I don't make vast generalizations about other countries which I know so little about.

90% of the news in America was about America as far as I saw, either in America or Iraq or whatever, there was not a lot of foreign news going on, however that was not my point.

So you are saying that 90% of the news you watch in Holland or any other country isn't about Holland or the country that the news is in. I guess you don't have local news stations.

Need some horror stories? Here is one, no one is missing out on much if they don’t have health insurance.
My wife and I have been paying into health insurance for the last 15 years. My company (I am one of the owners) pays 90% of the insurance and we also pay for extra ‘gap’ insurance which is suppose to pick up costs that Blue Cross doesn’t cover. The total annual cost for both types of insurance comes to $8940 per year.
During the last 15 years I have never gone to a doctor or received any medical care, my wife has only gotten her annual mammogram. But earlier this year, she was diagnosed with cancer and required an operation. The total cost of all the medical bills to date comes to $23,660. Between Blue Cross and the extra gap insurance they are covering only $6875 and we get to pay the balance. This is mostly because of a detail in the insurance coverage which allows them to not pay for much of the costs that occur outside of the hospital stay (beyond meds). If we had insisted on my wife staying in the hospital, they would have paid an additional $7k-$8k. In other words, the incentive was to stay in the hospital and avoid out-patient care (the opposite of what should be the incentive).
So to summarize, paying almost $100,000 into insurance for the last without leaning on it has resulted in the insurance companies covering under 30% of the total cost the first time we ever really used it. Basically the insurance companies have figured out how to ‘play the game’ and minimize the amount they have to pay out.
Obviously it would have been better to simply save the $100k that was paid over the 15 years and pay out the entire thing out of our pocket.

Im sorry but how could you NOT read through your coverage plan when you sign up, especially when signing up for supplemental insurance on top of that. Also I am assuming you think that the government health care is going to fix any of that, they are going to pay even less after it runs out of money and even fewer places are going to accept it.

You need to go through like Aetna or something better.

So your girlfriend should have read the fine print, then, too? I was right, she is stupid. Pay up, duder. I'm waiting. Shouldn't be any problem with your "awesome" job.

Again, not trolling. You and your girlfriend are both obviously stupid. By your own definitions, no less.
