by the way, you know how you get that smell when you've had a bandage on for awhile and then you finally get around to changing it?

yeah, sliced my finger open pretty good putting a bed frame together and i just took the old bandage off to let it breathe a bit. smells like ear cheese. (if you don't know what ear cheese smells like, find someone with plugs and go sniff their ear lobes.)

For movies, I haven't been watching a ton lately but a few good ones I've seen in the last 3 months or so are:

Blue Velvet
Ed Wood
The Big Heat

Another movie that was a childhood favorite that came on TCM the other night that I highly recommend is Paper Moon. Ryan O'Neill may be a boozing wife-beating hound but he's still okay in my book.

I watched "Frailty" today.

It was so kickass I don't know why I hadn't seen it before.

"Paranormal Activity" was worth the price of admission just to watch all the college aged girls in the theater flip their shit.

Also the best way to drink Rossi is to sling it over your shoulder and do the Atlas Shrugged chug.

not sure if i've ever watched a swedish film

i'm trying to track down this version of alice in wonderland that (i think) was done by a german fellow. it was all stop motion animation and man oh man, was it beautifully twisted. best version of alice i've ever seen.

Just make sure to watch them all w/ only english subtitles on, the dubbed over English version ruins it, loses all emotion.

I figure you'd watch it in the original language, but just in case.
