No worries my friend. Was just a curiosity question and when I had seen it spelled one way and I am accustomed to seeing spelled another way, well...what better place to ask but the forum?

Was not a negative post in the least or a judemental call either.

Too many brian <-- (EDIT: hahaha "Brain") cells are lost in my head after the past week of MLB action. Thank god there is a break this evening...possibly tomorrow too if the rain falls through the night. BTW...Go Yankee's!!!! I want an I-95 series.

When I do a search on the school, it cracks me up to see it named both ways.

It's not a big deal, but I just had to ask. TY

It's University of Cambridge and University of Oxford, though I think everyone knows what you mean if you say Cambridge or Oxford University.

    Cambridge University?

    or

    Univeristy of Cambridge?

I had always thought it was Cambridge University.

It's just one of those things that I looked at and was thinking...that's not correct. It would be similar to calling Ohio State University --> University of Ohio State or University of Pennsylavnia -> Pennsylvania University

No offense Xog, as this is not a bashing...just a clarification, as I had noted, I always thought of the school in question as "Cambridge University". Would it also be University of Oxford rather than Oxford University?

    At least it's not Devry

I see your creative writing and journalism, and raise you a degree in Music with a psychology minor.

    Luckily, I love instant noodles.

Not to debate that at all, but oddly enough, most people that get the Degree/Paper, never work in the field as to what they went to school for. Unless you are heading into a Medical or Law direction for work.

I dropped out of Art School myself when attending Cleveland Institute of Art and just moved next door to CWRU. Medical Illustration is a dead horse of a field today, as is much of illustration in general...thank you computers

All that medical illustration and having to take courses in anatomy and endless hours in the morge drawing cadavours and various diseased body parts helped me with the Kinesiology, anatomy and directions taken towards Physical and Occupation Therapy. I am statistic though of not working in the field I went to school for I do have a few clients at the gym I go to that I get paid to be their PT. cash on the side is all good.

    man

so many of you not only finished undergrad

but you're now on to grad school

stop making me look quite so bad

although i'm of the opinion an education can be found outside the realm of academia, i must admit, the 'd' in degree has become increasingly relevant to the 'd' in dollar

if you wanna make cents you have to have some sense or at least a piece of paper that says you do

but that's a debate for another thread
