it really sucks that someone like ph who was involved in the community and knew alot of the players, was replaced by a person who, while having excellent qualification with his development records, didn't understand the sort of "expected" atmosphere.

for instance, he failed to realize that ilya's thread acted as a steam valve that reduced alot of bullshit posting in other threads. I have been reading threads that go for pages without random kongings, derails, etc. a few threads, including the one banned, were responsible for that. now you're going to see threads get fucked up because everyone's going to play the break the rules! game. awesome.
