If it is written knowledge you are specifically referring to, then let me ask you this: but for what ultimate purpose, would that be of any importance? Knowledge on it's own, serves no purpose. Wouldn't the gathering of knowledge, eventually, just be another way to help the survival of our specie?
Spirituality tells us how to go to heaven, science tells us how the heavens go. Stop confusing the two, you cannot use science to answer spiritual questions. Science answers how we got here, not why we are here.

edit: you state mere sentences later that knowledge serves the survival of a species. I would say "make up your mind" but you do not have one.
P.S. no need to turn one of my frustrated whinging thread into one where my sex life is discussed.
For all who ever cares, I thing my life is all happy and shiny again - my newest goal is to hike the 3 out of top 5 hiking treks in the world in the next 4 years
P.P.S. that is when I am also making heaps of money and continue to explore the truth at the side.☕ 🍔 🍅 🍊🍏
