Nah, this is definitely something Chinese. I guess it doesn't shock me as much since I knew about it before, though seeing it is a different story. it's not dead fucking fish, it's a living organism that was scorched in heat and oil and not fully killed before they started to cook it. it's cruel, useless, and disgusting.

i don't care where you're from, cooking a live animal without putting it out of its misery is one thing, but cooking it while its alive and eating it before its dead is wrong. it's like throwing a lobster in a burning pot only to pull it out before the animal dies and start consuming it while its alive.

I doubt that fish is really alive from what I can see on the video.

When you kill a fish you fish yourself they can flap around and move several minutes after you've almost decapitated them. If they kill the fish in the kitchen then it shouldn't be too hard to prepare them fast enough so they are still moving when they get served.

Fresh fish is really, really good!
