I think it is very ignorant for us to believe that what we are doing right now in terms of how quickly we are depleting our fossil fuel reserves and destroying our forests are in any way attributed with it being a non-factor to the state of our atmosphere. Too many sources of primary literature have pointed out the drastic increases to carbon dioxide concentrations coinciding with increased industrialization. Here are two:



As you can see, there has been a steady decline in global temperatures leading up to the 1850s, which has drastically increased and has not come down since. The concept of global temperature is an average, and therefore any arguments about "its been colder than last year" to refute climate change, need I remind you that climate is not a local phenomenon, and therefore cannot be linked to weather.



This shows the spike of increased temperature to be coincidental with carbon dioxide concentration increase. Whether or not you think these two things are correlated, know that carbon dioxide's residual time in our atmosphere is upwards of 100-200 years. What a lot of climate models are showing is not the amount of CO2 that is being put in our atmosphere expressed as a % of the total amount present (which was never significant), but the effect of a positive feedback that is exacerbated when we have a stressed environment that fails to balance itself out (known as carbon dioxide forcing).

If the media reports something as with the word 'debate' in the headlines, such as "climate change debate continues as scientists attend conference" then it will make it look like its a debate with two sides rather than fraud.

When this is combined with pro-manmade global warming headlines, you have two kinds of headlines, totally pro-warming, and "theres a debate with two sides having points".

This will then have a psychological effect into people never thinking its a fraud, but its the same thing as past 'debates' like "Autism: is it refrigerator moms, or biology?", "Earth: is it round or flat", or some other past "debate" of hundreds like an 18th to 20th century science issue, that would make a better analogy but i cant think of now, which would be silly today to think there was a "debate" then. human society is twisted and sick.

Global warming happens strictly because of the sun. You know, that big ball of flaming gas in space? It has hot and cold fluctuations about ever 26,000 years or so, according to real scientific data (yes, REAL science). A big burning ball of flame would naturally have slightly different temperatures every now and then. It isn't that difficult to believe. Anyway, global warming was made up by a bunch of people wanting to make money and get famous, and it worked. Since the sun doesn't fluctuate all that often, it isn't that hard to say this is the only time it has ever done it. They also claim it is the carbons in the air that does it. That may well be true, but that causes an ice age not global warming.

For fucks sake, we haven't seen a large icemass break away from Antarctica since 1938 and already in the last five years, two chunks twice that size have floated away toward Austrailia. I just wanted to back Squeez up on this one. I have actually been watching the glaciers for over 6,000,000,000 years and I have never, ever seen two pieces of glacier fall off within the same period. These global warming skeptics have missed the obvious - because since I've been around, for 6,000,000,000 years, the Earth's temperature did not change one degree. The oceans have always been there, the deserts have always been there, every forest and every field. As a matter of fact, the Earth remained exactly the same from creation to about 150 years ago, when we started fucking it up. (That's the beauty of nature - how it never changes.) Honestly, I see absolutely no reason why anyone might be skeptical about my conclusive information. Two glaciers? In five years? In all my 6,000,000,000 years of astute vigil, I have never witnessed such a phenomenon.

Yes and those cycles take a long time to happen. The last Ice Age happened about 110,000 years ago and lasted until about 9700 B.C. Seems like a rather infetesimal change eh? That's why its just a tad bit concerning to see temperatures rise so quickly in such a short amount of time. The temperature should not rise by a degree or two in a fucking decade

2 degrees (if you are talking Celsius) per decade isn't something we will see for at least another 400 years.
