I do think that the past century has witnessed a significant change in CO2 levels, but I don't think it's something unfamiliar to geological history. I mean, pound for pound methane is 20 times more harmful, and the carbon we emit now might just be picking up slack from methane... after we slaughtered entire plains of methane-emitting animals.
