Best Game I have Ever played.. well the series anyways, is CASTLEVANIA.

Simply the best. And I love just about every game that was released for every console and handheld.

Wow.. super tecmo bowl, might as well bring up Master Blaster then also.

Dunno what Master Blader is, but if your gonna talk Super Tecmo Bowl the only other sports game that could compete with that was Blades of Steel.

On another note, best video game movie ever had to be The Wizard with fred savage. Being a little kid that was my fucking dream to be in a video game tournament like that.

All the games from HOMM1 to HOMM4 is great, best one is HOMM1 and after that they got slightly worse.

HOMM4 was just fucking dumb, and HOMM5 would be close to HOMM3 as best game of the series.

PS2: MGS 3, GTA sanandreas, GT 3, Shadow of the Colossus.
PS3: MGS 4, Demon's souls, Killzone2, Uncharted 2.
PC: Dune2, Master of Orion, Sid Meyer's Pirates Gold, Doom, HOMM3, Simcity2000, Red Alert, Blitzkrieg, Starcraft.

ANd I'm pretty sure you have to be carrying the homo-gene to be able to play FinalFantasy longer than 30secs.

such a hard topic to truly nail down, so i'm just going to post a few fav's from various platforms

nes: super mario bros 2, metroid, master blaster

snes: mario kart, mario kart, and more mario kart

gameboy (the original): zelda: the legend of link's awakening, battletoads, donkey kong country (1 and 2)

sega: streets of rage, mortal kombat 2 (whoopsie!), nba jam

n64: goldeneye (didn't really play much n64 to be honest)

ps1: ff7, ff tactics, twisted metal series

ps2: ffx, xenosaga (episode 1 mostly), star ocean 3, disgaea: hour of darkness, ico, shadow of the colossus

xbox: halo (that's about it though, played shit tons of lan games in college)

pc: subspace, half life, team fortress classic, tomb raider (especially 2, loved dicking around on the snowmobile), tribes, messiah, deus ex, sacrifice, thief (1 and 2), motocross madness (2 moreso than 1), interstate '76 (you could hack the shit out of this very easily), half life 2, counter-strike (both the original and source), okay i could go on forever here so i'll stop

sadly, i'm way behind the times as far as the latest consoles. i've yet to sit down in front of a ps3. i've only played a few games here and there on xbox 360, and as for wii, i mostly only play wii sports or the wii fit games.

as for FPS, I think Unreal Tournament 2003 wins hands down. Close behind is UT3 (aka 2007 i believe)

Orange Box in general is amazing... don't have it myself though.

And can't forget the games that defined my childhood:
Pokemon Yellow for the Gameboy.
