was a topic that interested me as i've heard alot about him and it always seemed a pretty intriguing story. It wasn't quite what i expected but it was a good watch and it was interesting to hear from those that knew him. I expected a bit more focus on the actual chess playing but that was skimmed over which probably makes it more appealing to more people.

yeah i post alot of these, they are available free to ppl in the UK on iplayer but are easy to get on torrents but i dont think we are allowed to link to those

The Code 3 part series
Hmm pretty cheesy title but a really good show. To me the title smacks of trying to appeal to ppl who read books like that da vinci code one to get them interested in mathmatics in the natural world but i really liked the show itself and Prof. Marcus du Sautoy enthusiam and understanding runs through it without annoying me like Biran Cox does so he is a good presenter.

He also has podcasts about the brief history of mathematicians that have made a big difference

About our perception of colour
i've talked to ppl about this topic in the past and it's always a fun topic and pretty amazing when you think about it so it was good to see this show and some outstanding examples (an african tribe spotting different colours differently and olymic ref's biasing red fighter )

Also, Senna is a fantastic doc. I highly recommend it even if you aren't particularly interested in auto racing (which I'm not)

Netflix just added a bunch of old espn docs from their 30 for 30 series, and I've watched a few of those. I am a sucker for classic sports stories.

I also watched one on Stan Lee that was pretty good , same with woody allen (also on netflix)

Special When Lit & King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters are both good about pinball and donkey kong, respectively

also, of all the national geographic docs on netflix, the one on wolverines is excellent. I've watched it multiple times.

Aannnnddd if you're ever really high, there is a french film called Microcosmos that is just a collection of extreme close-up insects with a hilariously epic soundtrack.

(clearly I have a lot of free time and not a lot of viewing options outside of netflix.)
