i got roped into working today (a saturday goddamnit!) so i'll buy the game tomorrow. might be up for some multiplayer by tomorrow night. i need to get myself at least a little up to speed though or i'll be getting zerg rushed right up the bum.

last time i spent any serious time playing an RTS was back in the warcraft 2 and 3 days.

I tried going to walmart to buy starcraft 2 the other day... was fucking SOLD OUT! If a walmart sells out of the shit... you know its a serious game. Nerds buyin the shit out from walmart doesn't happen often.

I might have to get it online I guess.

Anyway... I will be getting it. The thunder crew and I used to play SC 1 sometimes, and it was fun. I remember playing SC 1 when i was 14 way back in the day too. This will probably bring back some memories.

If blizzard comes out with World of Starcraft though, I'm quitting blizzard games forever. The same goes for World of Diablo.

pretty much any ZvT or ZvP game will automatically favor the T or P if you're playing someone competent enough to wall-in choke points and turtle a bit.

so much for the zerg rush. :/

blizzard definitely needs to spice up the zerg units a bit.

dude I lost my first 10 games as fucking terrain 9 times and zerg once... but then I learned a sick strategy from this protoss dude and I have been using it ever since and went on a 7 game hot streak until someone beat me with a fantastic early rush with his scv units (before he did this he types, sup I'm just going to take my time), completely caught me off guard. I used it on the next guy I played and it worked lol. But the next guy I tried it on was ready for it and countered it harsh and whipped my ass. But yeah I realized I'm sooo much better with protoss!!

i'll 1v1 you after i finish the campaign, gran. actually, after i finish the campaign and the challenges, and my placement matches, and a little more practice against the ai. i really suck right now. i don't even know the units all that well or the various races' tech trees. been watching tons of replays and reading up on lots of strategy as far as various build orders and what have you, but in the end, it's going to come down to just playing the damn game. both my macro and micro are shit.
