Like a lot of people before me, I have long moved on from this game. Meaning, no longer spend 5+ hours a day playing this game. Probably not even 1 hour a week.
But this does not mean TW was never a part of my life.
Once in a blue moon, I still think about SS Trenchwar, thinking about how I was 10 years ago. If you have spend more than 1500+ hours on any game, it is unlikely it would have not become a part of what you used to be.
I organized a lot of reunions for my uni friends, a lot of whom work within 20 minutes walking distance from my workplace (I work in the heart of Sydney CBD, have been there for the last 2 jobs - past 5 years). It has got me thinking a couple of days ago (when the blue moon shined bright & high in the sky) that maybe SSTW could use a reunion too!
The plan is: on certain day every year (or maybe twice a year), we all try to be online at certain time (assume server is okay with it).
Like once I have told my ex-colleagues (while still working with them). People move on, that's what they do. But as long as I see them every now & then, then nothing has ever changed, and I am happy!
