having a hell of a time coming up with names!

our short list thus far:

mowgli
bueller
fuego

trying to come up with hungarian names because the dog originates from hungary, but hungarian is an ugly ass language. :\

sorry but i agree i really dont like those names.. fuego and bueller are just the worst, please dont do this. the child in me can kinda appreciate mowgli, but than i remember we're trying to name a dog here.. (+ baloo = cooler :x)

heres some hungarian ones!:

Bela (after Bela lugosi! awesome sounding name imo, hell give him a fullname BELA LUGOSI if u want)
Erno (u r a nerd so u can figure this one out and probably appreciate it / but i dont really like the sound of that name)
Toma (huh, kinda cool background story (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A1s_Toma ) but meh who cares?!)

not-so-hungarian:
Oliver (bonus ability to shorten to Olly w/e u feel like calling him that! (my fave dog name by far I think)
Oscar (also possible to shorten to Ozzy I suppose)
Otto (kinda hungarian)

I also love the suggestion Laszlo, it's one of the best sounding names, but not sure if it's not too corny for a hungarian breed..?

we did already consider erno, hah. i love it but i'm still trying to win my g/f over. i also like otto.

Aw man I missed this thread somehow!!

I see a few people with these in LoDo when I am walking my dog around on the weekends. They look like great dogs. Congrats on the future addition to your home, Jason!

As for names -- go with whatever IMO as long as it is ...

1) 2 syllables
2) doesn't sound like "NO" or "BAD" or anything like that. You don't want the pup to think he's in trouble when you just say his name.
3) something that the dog responds to with interest the first few times you say it.
