post things you were teased about growing up

i wasn't teased too much,

when i was around 8 or 9 i went to a jewish summer day camp and was teased incessantly about not eating kosher. that made me always hide my lunch in my lunch box and eat very sneakily throughout elementary school

5th-7th grade i smelled pretty bad because i used this musk deodorant and everyone kept commenting on how bad someone smelled. i only got accused of being the smelly one once or twice but i knew it was always me and felt horrible. when i found out it was because of the musk deodorant i stopped using it and everyone was real happy

jr high i operated a really embarassing website about the weather on geocities.

i had a crush on this popular broad and these kids convinced me to propose to her using an alumnium foil wrapper ring during lunch and she said no. i got a bunch of comments about it in the yearbook 2 years later

Got teased for being a fatty boombalatty when I was a kid. That stopped though, after a kid punched me in the back of the head and then I literally threw him into a vending machine. The rest of growing up was pretty much fine.

in high school, I lettered in three sports and was in the best shape of my life (since then my only athletic activities are disc golf and ping pong and I've put on college beer weight). Anyways, I was looking baller, and by some unfortunate happenstance, a group of my friends got their hands' on a home movie of me as an infant (thanks mom and dad). As a small child i was notoriously chubby, and they were delighted to see fat baby me. As a result, I was referred to as "michielin man" for the next two years. They could possibly re-apply the nickname now, but it seemed so terribly unfair at the time. #highschoolproblems

Also in high school, my 'nerd friends' would belittle me for being friends with 'jocks' and 'jocks' would belittle me for being friends with 'nerds'. unf.

In middle school I once dozed off in my first class (good god, they started at 7:30am), which was not unusual. But this time my face was directly on a heater vent that literally seared lines into my face during the 50 minutes i was asleep. During my next class, the teacher called me grilleface and the name stuck for 2 years or so. The lines went away after 3 days.

When i was much, much younger, (3-5th grade), I was plagued by warts on my hands. I have no idea why, it doesn't run in my family, I didn't associate with frogs and/or witches on a regular basis, but for whatever reason I had an excessive amount of warts. Only on my hands. I went to several dermatologists, had several different procedures (freezing, ointments, laser surgery, etc. One doctor would literally scrape the top layer of skin off my hand with a razor blade and drip acid into the open wound), but nothing really worked. They went away after a while but it was ridiculously embarrassing and kids at that age are brutal. I can still count over 40 scars on my hands where warts have been burnt away.

These days I make fun of everything around me on a regular basis.
