anyone see the leeds festival?

my 2 friends went and they pranced around in thongs and were interviewed on TV. i fucking pissed myself laughing watching the recording. he also said the lead singer from electric 6 was sexy.

Zeus, did they play their older stuff (blood sugar sex magik, i don't care about earlier than that:P) or the new stuff....which i'm still making up my opinion about

blood sugar sex magic was definitely the highlight of their careers. I think everything since then sucks, and the stuff before that is mixed.

They've just matured with time. Newer fans of them give me the weirdest looks when I tell them that these were the same guys who used to play concerts wearing nothing but shoes and an odd number of socks.

I really loved Californiacation, and By The Way had a few good songs. I like their older stuff too, but they have evolved so much it's hard to say what's best.

Yeah they played a good mix with some guitar solos, five thousand bass solos from flee and a trumpet (?) solo from flea too. Don't really like any pre-californication stuff anyway, it may be cool to like but its not my style.
