Okay, i just got back from seeing this movie, and, is it supposed to be a recreation of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Cause it didn't look the same as the original. ...different ending and such. And wasn't 1 of the 5 teens in a wheelchair in the orignal? It's all confusing for me now. Please let me know.

And is this based on a true story? I just heard that it actually took place in Wisconsin and a chainsaw wasn't used, but I could be wrong.

he was a necropheliac / cannibal

made clothes outta ppl's skins (including his own mother) (and ate his mother/other ppl)

His mom raised him to like never see women so he became obsessed.

It was really suspenseful and very interesting. Pretty sick too...gore/blood (the fun stuff). Wasn't as scary as I thought though. Oh well, still made me jump in a couple of the scenes.

Check this shit out, it scared me as the little begining preview was showing (flash site), lol, i had to sorta turn it off. Might be because it's dark and I just came back from seeing Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This site also tells you the true story.

And I guess there's a movie claled "Ed Gein"? Or maybe it's gonna come out? I dono, but check it out.

ha, the guy in the wheelchair in the original was funny trying to get into the house when they all just like left him outside... anyways, i didn't see/don't plan on seeing the new one, but that's sick that someone would kill and eat their mother... like, even that one southpark when cartman makes that kid eat his parents was discusting.

If I remember correctly, cannibalism was never proven. Given what he did with the dead bodies, I personally beleive Gein was not a cannibal.

Yea the new TCM blew hard. I didn't see the original but this remake was not scary. At most there were 2 parts that could make you jump, bu that's about it. I think House of a thousand corpses was based off of Ed also, but it too blew -_-
