British Rock Bands

I've seen Feeder live twice, both brilliant. And yeah both Suede and The Coral are british, in fact The Coral played Portsmouth last night and two of my flatmates went to see them play

yeah feeder are good, i just dont think of them much. poor jon lee died, prolly coz of lack of attention (being the drummer and all)

the darkness - I believe in a thing called love kinda grows on you, i hated them after seeing them at the kerrang awards (i dont really like kerrang but i watched it anyway) but now i kinda like them.

Joy Division are good, i got a few of their songs, one of which is currently playing in winamp. (Transmission - good song)

stone roses are good, i like 2 songs, This is the one and Fools gold, its a little too slow for my taste but still very good music.

manic street preachers is good, design for life was a great song.

i shall try all of the other mentioned bands, and there are a few i like but havent heard much from them.


EDIT: also, another good song that sends the tingles down my spine is 'Oasis - Fucking in the Bushes' - theres no vocals in the song except a recording of this old woman at the end banging on about soemthing being beautiful.

Its also from the Snatch film soundtrack (the bit where mickey is walking to the ring for the final fight and then all the guys get shot up after he doesnt go down in the 4th round) Its a great song, you all should download it.
