Stereotype alert! I'm 14 and I won a national math award last week which means I just won a scholarship for college. So, you're just stereotyping us lol. I agree there are some kids on here who need to be doing stuff, but not all of us.

Well I'm 30 yrs old, and I resent being called a geezer too. I was once young and know how it is...
But it is sure nice to see people older than I. I feel little odd playing video games at my age, thats if I care what other people think.
I do what makes me happy or gives me some form of entertainment/challenge on my off time.
I will always be young at heart; no matter what age Iam, the day I don't wana play any games....is the time I'm a geezer.
Actually, I think it would be good for some old peoples like 60+ to play more games like this; instead of chain-smoking and watching TV all day.... or sitting in a room all day alone... worrying about dieing. Not saying all old people are like this, but I have seen some...its sad.
Stereotyping people because of age is not good either, it completely depends on the individual; often this is an overlooked form of discrimination and it goes for both the very young or old.
What, did you know 25 years worth of stuff at age 9?

Originally posted by Troll King On the issue of age, have you ever noticed that there's no way to win if someone asks you your age in SS? I mean, if it's too young you'll get laughed at for being immature, but if it's too old you get told to get a life. Why does that seem to be the first thing people ask you when you're arguing, as if age determines whether you were right or not?
Its the way society works, sucks if you're the wrong age but works in your advantage if you're not

At 14, I guess you have not learned to recognize sarcasm silly. You should have been able to tell from the rest of the context that this was the case. Additionally, if you peruse many of the forum topics over the last few months regarding stereotyping, sweeping generalizations, and/or racism, you will notice that I am fairly outspoken on this subject.
Soooo, welcome back, and congrats on that national award. Next time, do your homework ;p

Society has nothing to do with it. They ask you that question because that's the only thing they can think of to make fun of you about. Go to any arena in pub and wait for an argument to start up. Someone will eventually run out of points and will ask the other his age, and no matter what he answers, it gets turned against him.
I was chillin in the Older Women chat on AIM one day and I'm all "i'm not an older woman" and they were mad at me for being in there, but 3 people IMed me saying they didn't mind I was young.
can we please have a moment for silence for those who died from black on black violence
